  1. Overview

This Returns & Refund Policy applies to purchases made from Meridianis Global Ltd, whether online, in-store, or via trade account.

Different rules apply to:

– Retail / Consumer Customers

– Trade / Business Customers

Please read the relevant section carefully.

  1. Consumer Returns (Retail Customers)

This section applies to individuals purchasing for personal use.

2.1 Your Right to Cancel (Online Orders)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:

– You have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to request cancellation.

– You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

2.2 Conditions for Returns

Returned goods must:

– Be unused

– Be in original packaging

– Be in resaleable condition

We reserve the right to reduce refunds where goods show signs of use or damage beyond reasonable inspection.

2.3 Non-Returnable Items (Consumers)

For hygiene, safety, and perishable reasons, the following items may not be returned unless faulty:

– Perishable food items

– Opened beverages

– Opened hygiene or personal care products

– Opened pet food

– Custom or special-order goods

2.4 Refund Processing

Once goods are received and inspected:

– Refunds will be issued within 14 days

– Refunds will be made to the original payment method

Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the goods are faulty.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

  1. Trade / Business Customer Returns

This section applies to trade accounts and business purchases.

3.1 No Cooling-Off Period

Trade customers do not have a 14-day cancellation right.

All trade sales are final unless:

– Goods are faulty

– Goods were supplied incorrectly

3.2 Reporting Issues

Trade customers must:

– Inspect goods immediately upon delivery

– Report shortages, damage, or incorrect items within 48 hours

– Provide photographic evidence where required

Failure to notify within this timeframe may result in refusal of claim.

3.3 Bulk & Case Goods

Opened cases, part-used bulk products, or resale stock may not be returned unless faulty.

  1. Faulty or Damaged Goods (All Customers)

If goods arrive damaged or faulty:

  1. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Provide photographs
  3. Retain original packaging where possible

We will offer:

– Replacement

– Repair

– Refund

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (for consumers) and applicable commercial law (for trade).

  1. Collection Orders (Cash & Carry)

For goods collected in person:

– Customers are responsible for checking goods before leaving premises

– Claims for visible damage must be raised immediately

Once goods leave our premises, risk transfers to the customer.

  1. How to Return Goods

To initiate a return:

– Name

– Reason for return

– Photographs (if faulty/damaged)

We will provide return instructions.

  1. Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to product availability.

We reserve the right to offer refund instead of exchange where appropriate.

  1. Refund Exceptions

We may refuse refunds where:

– Goods are returned damaged due to misuse

– Goods are not in resaleable condition

– Return is outside allowed timeframe

– Trade customers attempt return outside fault/incorrect supply

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law.
