Consumer Cancellation & Distance Selling Rights
(Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
Meridianis Global Ltd complies with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
This document explains your statutory cancellation rights when purchasing online.
- Who This Applies To
These rights apply to retail customers purchasing online for personal use.
They do not apply to:
- Business or trade customers
- Purchases made for resale
- In-person warehouse purchases
Trade purchases are not covered by statutory cooling-off rights.
- Your Right to Cancel
If you purchase goods online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days without giving a reason.
The cancellation period begins:

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us clearly in writing within the 14-day period.

- Your name
- Order number
- Delivery address
- Clear statement that you wish to cancel
- Returning Goods
Once cancellation is notified, goods must be returned within 14 days.
Unless goods are faulty or misdescribed, customers are responsible for return costs.
Returned goods must be:
- Unused
- In original packaging
- In resalable condition
You may inspect goods as you would in a physical retail store, but you must not use, consume or test them beyond what is reasonably necessary.
- Hygiene, Sealed & Perishable Goods
For health protection and hygiene reasons, certain goods cannot be returned once opened or unsealed.
Food & Beverage Products
The right to cancel does not apply to:
- Perishable food or drink items
- Items requiring refrigeration
- Goods with a short shelf life
- Any food or beverage product where the seal has been broken
Unopened food products may be returned only if:
- They remain fully sealed
- They are within date
- They are in resalable condition
Cosmetics & Personal Care Products
The right to cancel does not apply to:
- Sealed cosmetic products once opened
- Skincare, makeup or personal care items once unsealed
- Products applied to the body
- Items where hygienic seals have been removed
Customers may inspect packaging but must not open, apply or test cosmetic products if they intend to return them.
Hygiene-Sensitive Products
The right to cancel does not apply once opened to:
- Razors
- Toothbrushes
- Underwear or intimate items
- Personal hygiene devices
- Beauty tools intended for direct skin contact
- Disposable hygiene products
- Electrical & Technical Products
Customers may inspect electrical goods as they would in a retail environment.
However:
- Excessive use beyond reasonable inspection may result in a reduction of refund
- Missing components or damaged packaging may reduce refund value
Returned electrical goods must include all original components, manuals and packaging.
- Diminished Value
If goods are returned showing signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we reserve the right to reduce the refund to reflect the diminished value.
- Goods Mixed After Delivery
Cancellation rights do not apply to goods that become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.
- Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of:
- Receiving the returned goods; or
- Receiving evidence that goods have been returned.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
- Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.
Faulty goods may be returned regardless of the above restrictions.
